It looks like my residency at CHSA will not end for me at the end of the year. They would like to transform two thirds of the studio to a gallery where people can casually walk in to view my artwork. Hopefully this can result in some purchases too.
The way it is now the space is a personal studio. Visitors to the museum seem to be very apprehensive about going into to look around when I’m there. When I’m not there, people just stand at the doorway and peek in.
Similar thoughts went through my mind too as I matted and framed a bunch of artwork to unsuccessfully sell at their annual gala. I have a bunch of framed artwork ready to display. But have no where to neatly hang them.
